OK I'm going to update each session I guess. Helps me vent some. I'll keep a running total of the day at the bottom. I didn't get much sleep last night so I'm shooting for like 120-140 games at most. I won't be upset if I only get in 80-100 if I can get in a nap today lol
Got up early today and got an early start. I was playing before 11am. I should have stayed in bed lol 1st game lvl 1 KK < AA. I meant to play a 20 game set then the KK < AA hand I decided to open 1 more since I hadn't finished loading games. I think I lost my 1st 6 and just felt like it was going to be a bad session. It heated up big time at the end as I won 15 of the 21 games. Ya me!
OK back after a nap and did a 20 game set. Cashed 13/20. Would have been 14 but I had a 3 way showdown where BB had 1 BB and he tripled up crippling me. I had limped behind just to get an extra set of face cards out there hoping to knock him out cause I only had 2BBs at the time.
What is it with me running KK into AA lvl 1? Btn limps, I raise SB and BB 3 bets and I just call. Flop is 9 hi and I check he leads weak and it screamed AA but I raised and called his shove. At this buy in I'm just going broke there 100% of the time. Just ran KK into KK and split. Least he didn't 4 flush me lol. Also seeing a ton of people just open shoving lvl 1 and 2 today.
1st ever break even session. Well I'm slightly up but going 11 of 20 isn't really making much after rake. I just couldn't win showdowns period. 7 handed SB raises 33 i shove 99 he insta calls gg me. I never got hands early, I never built a stack and I never sucked out. :-( Had been a great day until this. I got lucky to get even by cashing like 10 in a row at the end. I really thought this was going to be a huge losing session for me. Killed some stats for me I'm sure as I know I was on a heater.
4th set: Going to be 22 games. Lvl 1 multi tabler raises 1 call 1 reraise and I shove QQ. He snap calls and flop is AKx. Next game lvl 1 I call with JJ and flop is 8 hi and shove a raise and villian had QQ. Next game was marginal. Blinds 25/50 UTG min raises to 100 and gets 4 calls and I shove AQo in the BB. UTG had AK. This is getting bad. I have 10BBs in the SB A9o and btn limps I shove he had 99. I've run into KK at least 2 if not 3 more times and AA once when I had AK. Went 11 of 22 this time so this was a break even session. Couple of really bad sets. I was thinking of moving up to the 10.40s when I got to 75 buy ins but I think I'll wait now until I do have 100 Buy Ins and increase my sample size some. Might delay me a day or two moving up but not much.
5th set: Starting out like last 2. I raise AKs in MP and get called by LP. Flop KT6 I bet get min raise and call. Turn is an Ace putting 2 flush draws out and CRAI he has 66. Think I'm callingit a night after this losing set. This is horrible. Getting no hands and blinded down and then running into monsters. This is really bad. I just ran JJ into QQ 7 handed to get crippled again. Looks like I got 8 out of 21 that set. The last 3 have just gone down hill. Still a decent day but not what I expected after the fast start. Killed my ROI and hourly rates today. But thats the thing about small sample sizes too. IDK I may come back after watching a movie or some TV and try another set. I don't think it has to do with 20 tabling as I'm pretty confident in my decisions today. Just felt like I got cold decked a lot and that happens no matter the game.
6th set: Downswing continues. I won 7 of 20 this time. Thats a huge downswing in these levels. I'm either dominated or losing all my flips when I get all in late. Its ridiculous. LOL 7 handed I shove JJ called by A9o gg me. I'm giving up on the day. Started great and finished like shit. 4 bad sessions. 2 break even followed by 2 losing sessions. Least I got some volume in today and I learned these things aren't variance free either. I actually lost money at these after being up like 12 buy ins. I think I lost 1 buy in overall.
