Did ok in the 1st session yesterday. I only finished up 2 Buy ins over 30 games but I lost a couple of dominating hands to suck outs or I would have been up 6 so I wasn't too concerned. Then last night I went on a 40 game break even stretch that really sucked. Nothing went my way. No matter how bad the player was he always seemed to come up with a hand when I bluffed, or had me out kicked on pairs, etc.
For some reason I thought it would be a good idea to try and move back up to the 33s today. I play 23 and dropped 2 BIs so its not terrible but I had to get on a heater to end only 2 down. I had 2 -3 game streaks and a -5 game streak. At one point I lost 8 of 9 and 11 out of 15. I did finish on a 5 game win streak but not sure if I'll play the 33s in my late session or not. I ran really bad FWIW though. 2 all ins preflop I had them dominated with AJ and AQ v/s Ax and they flop their kicker. A guy shoved 3x the flop with top pair and I had him outchipped and out kicked and he catches his kicker. Then tells me how he's outplayed me for 2 or 3 straight game and deserved to catch his hand.
Not sure whats up with the trash talk lately. I know I've been bad about mentioning to players how good they are running v/s me but thats about the extent of my end unless they get out of hand. I had 3 or 4 players berating me for being a fish last night. Not sure if they were running that good v/s me or maybe I just wasn't on my A game. I've tried to start blocking chat more often just so I'm not distracted by the trash talkers.
I'm hoping to get my SNG articles finished in the next day or so. I had a couple new ideas and rewrote one of them and may rewrite a 2nd as well. I know I'm behind on them but I'd rather they be good than fast.
Update: OK I did another 20 game set at the 33s and did really well. Went up 5 Buy Ins. Had a 7 game win streak and won 10/11 and 12/14 at one point. So not a bad overall.
