getting brutal

Man I'm just running so bad right now. Every time a fish stacks me with a draw out or some horrible play they immediately sit out and leave. I'm losing a lot of big all in pots where I'm 60/40 or 70/30 on the turn. I'm getting into a lot of 3 bet pots pre with great holdings like KQJ9ds and completely wiffing them all.

Here is a hand where the guy has 3 gut shot draws and I've seen him playing bad already. He calls a pot sized shove on the turn with his draw.

I'm trying to play enough low stakes on Tilt in the next 2 days to get my 1 week of Stox Poker free. Then I'm probably moving over to Stars and playing $25 PLO and I think I'm going to try full ring cause it will help me adjust to the game some and I can tighten up more. Seems to be a lot of low limit full ring on Stars where there is none on Tilt. I wanted to just play 6 max but most of the books I'm reading are for full ring and it will probably be better if I played full ring to get a better feel for it. IDK if it will help ot not. Can't hurt imo.

Just lost a 4 way all in pot with top set. Was worth about 4 BIs total in the pot. I'm 2:1 fav over the 2nd guy and 2.5:1 over the guy who ends up winning. So brutal. That 1 pot makes up for the last 2 days of running bad had I won it lol :( http://www.pokerhand.org/?4412768

I need less than 100 points now to get my 1 week of Stox so I should be able to get there playing $5 PLO the next 2 days.

Here is another rough hand. I thought I was up against AA and AA or AA and KK here. I still was right in getting it in here but I can't believe the FD and top pair sticks it in here. http://www.pokerhand.org/?4413002

Making a comeback now. Called down a pretty weak top pair hand on a J66x board v/s a maniac and backdoored my nut flush flush. He checks flop, bets turn and I call a pot bet with my draw and he shoves me on the river and I was 90% sure he dind't have the boat. He had a huge stack and was a villian from another hand where he played it super bad. So I made a thin call and was right. He showed a med overpair and worse flush. Next hand I get AT93ss in the BB and he is in the SB and completes. Fop T74r he pots and I float my top pair. Turn 8s giving me top pair and an OESD and he pots again and I call. Since no one raised pre the pot is still pretty small. River is a 6 and he bets and calls my shove. He had AJ53ss for a worse straight.

On another table right after this I misplayed an AAxx hand bad on the turn. I raise AA42 after an EP limps and he calls. Flop is K53 2 hearts and I had the bare Ah. So I have the overpair and andany A, 2, 4, 3, or 6 thats not a heart. I lead out and get 2 calls. Turn is an 8 putting a 2nd flush draw and UTG limper now shoves a pot sized bet. I really thought he was probably on a flush draw with a K and if he had 2 pair I probably wasn't very far behind if I could get it HU because of my 2 pair and straight draw outs. Turns out he had a pair of 8s for a set and I rivered him. I was really off in my analysis and finally got lucky on one. I was due imo.

I'm making some good reads overall and trying to really focus in and people. I've made some nice 3 barrel bluffs where I was sure a guy had a weak top pair and the flush or straight draws came in and I didn't have them but was able to move them off their hands. Wow just took a 300BB pot when guy floats an over pair and turns top set v/s my straight and it holds. E Z game lol

Now I'm back to even. Missing everything and getting drawn out like crazy. I turn top set and get raised and call cause the only hand beating me is if someone called pre with 87 and of course he had called with 8733ss and he's calling every rause and I had to pay him off. Then I raise AAQJss and flop nut straight + NFD bet and 2 calls, turn I bet 2 calls, river pairs the K and I check call a small all in and he had KT so he called down 2 pair and rivers a boat in a big pot. Was up almost 4 BIs at one point tonight. So frustrating. One of my fav donks is back and sits down and donates his stack to me again. Then I flop OESD and call a min raise, turn the straight and there is no flush draw out and flat the min raisers pot bet again and river pairs the board and I've got trips with my straigh tand he pots I call and hehad runner runnered a boat. Previously mentioned donk just stacked me when I raise he calls pre. I flop top pair and he leads a 2 flush flop and I call. I turn trips and he check/calls an 80% pot bet. River brings the flush and I'm getting 3:1 to call and he's likely to bluff a lot so I call and he had a K hi flush. Thats how quickly 2 BIs can disappear in this game. :-( If he stays though I'm sure to get it back.

Wasn't planning on playing this long. I should be close to getting my points for the week of Stox at this rate. Donk keeps playing every hand and I'm raising a lot of his limps and playing pots in position with him. He's winning some small pots and I'm winning the big ones. I raise and get 3 calls with JT97ss. I flop AQ8r and I decide to not try to plow through them and see what the turn brings. Its a K and the action is bet/call in front of me and there is now a club draw on the board. I figure the donk prolly has the flush draw and I'm probably splitting a straight with the guy who led out so I shove hoping to maybe force the draw out. bettor calls and donk caller folds. EP guy had AA for top set and bricks the river. Ending the session up 2 BIs so not horrible. Didn't quite get my FTPs in but I'll get them tomorrow and probabl y buying Omaha Tracker early next week since I plan to move up to $25PLO on Stars. Going to read some more of the Jeff Hwang book now.
