Look on Full Tilt or Google Durrrr challenge if you don't already know about this. They played about 14 hours of 4 tables 200/400 PLO. Absolutely sick. Durrrr started about 200K down I think overall in the challenge. He ended up about 750K. At one point in the session he was up over 1M. I've heard it might have been up as much as 1.3 or 1.4M. He also took a few hundred K off Gus Hansen at the same time but dropped about 500K to Ivey who was on break during a WSOP event and won more in the hour than 1st place payed in his tourny lol And people wonder why he doesn't usually bother with tournaments.
I watched a ton of PLO videos and their sessions yesterday and got up at 8am for some reason and just finished my 1st session at .02/.05. Huge stakes I know. But I only had like $135 in my Tilt account and I think you need like 40 buy ins minimum in PLO. I always heard its 2x whatever you use for Hold Em. Anyway I'm up a little over 4 buy ins. Big rush at the end. I had clicked sit out on my tables when I was up 5 but I ran the 2nd nut straight into the nut straight in a big 3 way pot. I don't have Omaha Tracker so I have no idea how I did on the session BB wise or how many hands I played. I've got 2 PLO books on the way and another here at home but its more of an advanced book and I want to start with basic 101 PLO. I've got enough to play $25 PLO so thats .10/.25 blinds but want to wait until I'm sure I know what I'm doing.
Lot of fun so far though. I made a lot of bad river calls. Probably costs me 2-3 BIs right there where I bet/called rivers that I was pretty sure I was beat but just had to see it. No one ever bluffed me on the river so I should have learned.
